As expected, the man is frivolous in his nature, and loyal to those he cares about. Though despite the fact he can go overboard, I suppose I don't hate it entirely from time to time. It goes without saying that I trust in his abilities, his ideas, and...him, as well. We've yet to properly spar, however, and need to rectify this immediately.

Still a reliable man to the end, no matter what result has shaken out from the last trial. At the least, he's proven himself time and time again to be an adequate sparring partner, and our fight seems to have more or less cooled his head. Though now I believe it's time for him to reveal what exactly he's been working on. The time for being subtle is now long past.

It's commendable she's managed to be herself even after every single loss, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Mei has also made remarkable improvements on her swordplay ability, and as such I've given her a blade that I've trusted she'd be able to use. I don't doubt she'll be able to put it to use when the time comes.

I never would've thought that he'd become one of the few so important to me. But I obviously wouldn't have it any other way. All his faults, his strengths—ugh, I refuse to get sappy about this. But, I trust him to see this through, with his perceptive nature, and capable skill on the battlefield.

She seems to have been carrying a heavier burden than either of us could've imagined. Not that it stopped her from being unfairly executed.
